We offer Shichi-Go-San prayers for only a family at a time.
If you wish to make a Shichi-Go-San visit and the date and time you wish to pray has already been booked, please call us once.
Please note the following: - The appointment will be made between those who have already made an appointment, so the time may vary slightly.
Please come to the reception 10 minutes before your appointment time (e.g. for the 11:00 slot, please come at around 10:50.
Please note that there are times when prayers cannot be accepted due to weddings, etc.
Age 3
The age of three is called “Kamioki,” a ceremony which held in the edo period, the child begins to grow his or her hair, which had previously been shaved, and is celebrated by both boys and girls.
Age 5
The fifth year is called “Hakama-gi,” or the ceremony of putting on Hakama ( Japanese traditional pants) for the first time, and is celebrated for boys.
Age 7
The seventh birthday is called “Obi-Toki”, a ceremony for girls to remove the sash from their kimono and replace it with an new sash for adult.
It is usually celebrated on 15hth November, but in recent years, many people have chosen a better date in Autumn.
